Event Planning
Each year, VIPS organizes and hosts a variety of events. Some are program events, such as Reading Is FUNdamental (RIF) book distributions or chess tournaments. Other events include our City Kids ˝ Marathon & Relay, our Winter Auction, and our Volunteer Recognition Breakfast. Whatever your time and talents, you can help VIPS help our Providence public school students.
Fundraising
As a nonprofit, VIPS depends on grants, individual donations, business sponsorships, fundraising events and in-kind donations to provide programs for our students. Your enthusiasm, generosity and energy can help VIPS achieve our fundraising goals.
Office Help
VIPS has a dedicated staff. From time to time, we need extra hands to help with mass mailings, data entry, or other clerical duties.
