Special Programs for the Business Community
In addition to our core mentoring and tutoring programs, VIPS offers several programs appropriate for business and community groups. Providence’s business community knows how crucial children’s education is to our city’s future. VIPS brings volunteers from many different businesses into our city’s schools, where they make a real difference in a child’s education. VIPS works with local business to find creative ways to bring together members of our business community with students. Please call or email us to discuss ways your business or group can become involved.
VIPS Links – Bringing the Business Community and students together
VIPS Links is a service VIPS offers to business community members who may not be able to commit to a weekly volunteering, but still want to participate in some form of volunteering. VIPS Links serves as the liaison between business and school, creating and coordinating events to meet the business community’s volunteer requirements and the schools’ needs. Some VIPS Links activities include Read Aloud Days and Lend a Hand Days. Call or email the VIPS office for more information.
