Business volunteers play an active role with in our organization. Businesses can act as sponsors of our events, “adopt a program” which allows VIPS to offer special programs to students or donate equipment and materials. Through our RIF program, businesses can purchase books for elementary school students who would not otherwise have books of their own. VIPS is happy to discuss ways that we can work together.
VIPS sends a heartfelt 'thank you' to Coastway Cares Charitable Foundation for its recent financial investment in our children's futures. This contribution, the first we have received from Coastway, will allow VIPS to train more reading tutors to help elementary school children in Providence improve their reading comprehension and fluency.
VIPS also thanks Textron for its investment in our high school students. Textron's contribution will allow VIPS to provide after-school programming for the Learn to Earn students who participated in the seven week award-winning program.
